Welcome to the Talkingink launch! Formerly known as Kirkwood Trading Company. Exact same personnel, we just thought it fitting to have a company name that appeals to the masses and let’s people know what we do. Nothing has changed and we are still the same 20+ year old screen printing company with the fastest turn around and the friendliest prices on shirt printing.
What’s in a name? Well custom t-shirts are your brand, your billboard, your statement. Screen printing is printing using ink. Your custom t-shirt messages talk to people, Talkingink…it was a natural fit.
While some things like quality, pricing, and job turn around remain the same, some things will change. We’ll be pushing our FREE online spirit stores and fundraising capabilities more because we believe these 2 things are valuable needs that not many people are aware of, but a lot of people needs. Shirt printing is as popular as it’s even been and companies and schools alike are seeing the power of marketing through logo wear like never before.
The spirit stores are a great way to add an online presence to your already brick and mortar spirit store. It allows you to increase your demographic by engaging those people who like purchasing online or who don’t’ have the option to come up to your physical store such as out of town alumni.
From the customers perspective these stores are pretty much hands off except for the initial setup which merely includes choosing the apparel and design you want to put together, and then we take it from there. So the day to day need for involvement is no longer there and our customers time is freed up to do other things. Additionally we have launched a fundraising option for customers who use custom apparel to raise funds. We have had many customers taking advantage of this option to raise funds for such things as a swim club selling a t-shirt to raise funds for a family with a parent going through chemo. A school needed to raise funds to help offset the cost for new playground equipemnt, A soccer club used a store to raise funds to offset the cost of an out of town tournament. The possibilities are truly endless.
